Christmas Craft Day

Today was our Christmas Craft Afternoon. Thank you to all the Parents/Carers; family and friends who came. We all had a great afternoon making different Christmas crafts and getting very messy!!

Super spellers

This week  these children have impressed us with their spelling scores. Remember to practice every day!

A visit from Olive the elf....

This morning we were really excited to find Olive the elf had paid a visit to the classroom. She had a letter from Santa which told us which children were on the nice list and we wrote our letters to Santa asking for the things we would like for Christmas. Miss Ward was a bit sad to see she hadn't made the nice list but all the children in the class had!

3d shapes

This morning in Maths we have been making 3d shapes using spaghetti. We found it really tricky but using our problem solving skills we worked out making smaller shapes and using more spaghetti helped to make the shape stronger.

Launch day!

We have had sooo much fun today for our launch day of our new topic “winter wonderland”.

This week in maths we have been learning all about 2d shapes and we were challenged to create shape monsters using different 2d shapes. Here are a few of our finished monsters!
