What we have been up to this week...

On Wednesday we were all super excited because a lady from Flex Dance Class came in to teach us some street dance. We learnt a dance which we then performed to the whole school. It was so much fun!

We have used lots of Drama techniques in Literacy this week, to help us understand character perspectives from the story. 

In Maths we have been applying our knowledge of subtraction to lots of different scenarios. This week's homework is a reasoning challenge. 

Reminders:

-We are working really hard to win the attendance trophy in KS1. Please ensure your child is at school on time, every day. Children who arrive on time will receive a dojo.

 

- Please encourage your child to leave personal items such as toys at home. We have a had a few incidents of toys going missing or being broken at school. These can also be very distracting for children, particularly if they have them in their pockets.

- Book bags and Reading logs should be brought to school every day. We check reading logs daily. If your child reads every day they get entered into a prize draw!
